Hotel 'Nevermore' is a demonstration hotel website we created to showcase the design, structure, and functionality of a modern hospitality site. It mimics a real hotel experience, including room pages, imagery, and booking features, to give users a realistic impression of how a finished site would look and perform.
Dan Watkins (aka Dan the Cobbler) approached us to design a website that showcases the supplements he incorporates into his routine as a strength athlete. A key objective was to reflect Dan’s dual identity - both as a professional cobbler and a dedicated athlete - while prominently featuring the products he personally uses, alongside others available within the range.
To bring authenticity and depth to the site, we incorporated a video background within the main header, creating a more immersive first impression. In addition, an embedded YouTube video helps reinforce Dan’s connection with the product creator, adding credibility and trust.
The website is monetised through a combination of affiliate links and a custom discount code, providing a seamless way for visitors to engage with and purchase the products Dan recommends.
Make It Echo is a curated experiences platform that connects people with local hosts to offer unique, high-quality experiences rooted in location, culture, food, craft, nature and community.
We were introduced to Kerry Carmichael, the founder of Make It Echo, through our work with key figures in the Responsible Tourism sector, including Emeritus Professor Harold Goodwin and Debbie Hindle, founder of ICRT.Global.
Initially, Kerry had engaged an overseas developer to build the site, but the developer became increasingly uncommunicative and ultimately unable to deliver a seamless user journey. We were first brought in to resolve specific issues, particularly integrating WordPress plug-ins to manage the booking process, however it soon became clear that off-the-shelf functionality could not support the site’s complex multi-vendor requirements, especially the need to dynamically manage random dates and capacities. Kerry ended her relationship with the original developer but was left without access to the existing content.
Using the original wireframes and screenshots, we rebuilt the site from scratch in WordPress. In parallel, we developed a bespoke micro-site to manage the technical aspects of booking transactions, enabling seamless management of event dates and capacities across all vendors.
Anxiety Uncovered is a programme and resource hub focused on helping young people, parents and educators understand and manage anxiety. Founded and led by our existing client Joe Rowntree, who combines lived experience (anxiety, PTSD, OCD, ADHD) with psychological training and work in schools.
Joe’s brief for the site was to showcase his key offerings, provide access to his regular podcasts, and present evidence and feedback from pupils, parents, educational institutions, and other organisations.
Spa Fun Casinos needed a visually appealing yet cost-effective public-facing website to showcase their casino services for external events, such as corporate parties, weddings, and private functions. Despite their limited budget, they had a clear vision for the site’s look and feel, including specific requirements for colours, style, and overall aesthetic. This allowed us to focus on delivering a solution that met both their financial constraints and their desire for a polished, professional appearance.
We developed a responsive template that matched their style preferences, applying visually engaging elements to capture the excitement and glamour of casino events. To ensure consistency with their brand, we worked closely with Spa Fun Casinos to incorporate specific colour palettes and stylistic preferences, resulting in a website that accurately reflected their brand identity.
TFXWeb was appointed to design and build an enhanced, public-facing website for StarsInMyEyes.tv to replace their outdated platform, which struggled with limited functionality for listing and managing entertainment industry opportunities. Our objective was to create a dynamic, modern site that would not only make it easy for aspiring talent to apply for roles but also allow them to create comprehensive online profiles to showcase their skills and attributes.
To meet Stars In My Eyes’ requirements, we integrated several critical features. First, we built a revenue-generating model with secure online payment processing, allowing users to apply for opportunities as part of a subscription-based service. This integration included a seamless payment and subscription management system, empowering users to manage their subscriptions, update profiles, and select relevant areas of interest and personal attributes - all in one streamlined dashboard.
We also focused heavily on user safety and experience. Protective measures were implemented to prevent inappropriate contact from outside visitors, ensuring a safe and respectful environment. Additionally, we developed a submission portal for external industry providers, such as TV networks and entertainment agencies, enabling them to easily list new opportunities. This functionality not only broadened the range of opportunities available to users but also fostered a collaborative platform between talent and industry providers.
The result is a versatile and secure site that facilitates meaningful connections between aspiring talent and industry opportunities while supporting Stars In My Eyes’ growth through a sustainable revenue model. This comprehensive solution has positioned StarsInMyEyes.tv as a trusted, interactive hub for both talent seekers and industry professionals.
When people & places first approached us, they had a basic website that offered limited functionality for potential volunteers to learn about and interact with their organisation. The site also lacked any backend capability for managing volunteer placements and project administration, which was essential to their operations. Our goal was to create a robust website with an integrated backend management system that would allow people & places to oversee their entire process - from creating and managing overseas projects to fully administering volunteer placements.
We developed a solution that streamlined their operations, enabling their team to handle every step of the volunteer process within one system. This included tools for managing project details, volunteer applications, and placement logistics. Since the initial build, we have continued to collaborate with them on various enhancements to support their evolving needs. These updates include the automation of the volunteer “journey”, allowing volunteers to seamlessly progress from pre-departure to placement and returning home, with timely updates and actions automatically triggered at each stage.
The end result is a comprehensive, dynamic platform that empowers people & places to effectively manage and grow their operations while providing an enriched experience for volunteers from start to finish.
Seacon Group, with its multiple trading entities, faced challenges with outdated websites for individual companies that did not effectively present or organise the diverse range of services provided by group as a whole. The sites were visually uninspiring, failing to reflect the professional and dynamic nature of Seacon Group’s brand.
In our consultation process, we identified key areas for improvement, including a streamlined navigation structure, enhanced visual appeal, and functional features to engage visitors and address their specific needs. Our solution included creating an intuitive, multi-tiered navigation system, allowing users to easily access information about each trading entity. This organised layout ensured that clients could quickly locate relevant services, improving their overall experience and minimising the risk of missed business opportunities.
To boost visual engagement, we redesigned the site using modern design principles, incorporating high-quality images, engaging layouts, and a cohesive color scheme to align with Seacon Group’s brand identity. This visually stimulating design not only enhances user experience but also reinforces Seacon’s professional image.
Additionally, we enabled the site to allow Seacon’s team to post news updates independently, keeping clients informed about the latest developments and projects. We also implemented a customisable contact form with dynamic routing, enabling visitors to direct their enquiries to specific entities within the group. This feature enhances responsiveness and ensures that enquiries are managed efficiently.
Overall, the revamped website offers a professional, user-friendly, and visually engaging platform that supports Seacon's current needs while being flexible enough to adapt to future expansions or adjustments.
The Faversham Society approached us with an outdated website that no longer met their needs in terms of functionality, design, or scalability. Through a series of consultations, we collaborated closely with them to understand both their immediate requirements and their long-term vision for the site. This allowed us to develop a comprehensive roadmap that addressed urgent issues - such as improving navigation, enhancing visual appeal, and optimizing mobile responsiveness - while also laying the groundwork for future expansion.
Our solution focused on enabling the client to manage certain content independently. To achieve this, we built the new site in Wordpress which enables the Society to update content, publish blog posts and create live event listings without requiring technical expertise. Additionally, we integrated an e-commerce platform that allows them to sell products directly from the site, providing an additional revenue stream. This self-sufficiency was crucial, as it allowed the Society to maintain a dynamic, up-to-date online presence while minimising ongoing technical support.
In addition to their main website we have also developed micro-sites to accommodate member subscriptions and the inventory of their retail book store.
ICRT global tasked us with designing a website that embodied their core values in Responsible Tourism while offering robust functionality to engage users and support online and remote learning services. They provided initial ideas for the site’s layout and structure, which we used as a foundation to collaborate closely with their team. Together, we refined these ideas, crafting a solution that not only met but exceeded their original expectations.
Throughout the development process, we maintained ongoing communication with ICRT global to ensure alignment and address evolving needs. This open dialogue allowed us to propose enhancements that expanded on the initial brief, such as additional visual elements and user-friendly navigation features, which enriched the overall user experience. We also discussed and implemented various options for seamless integration of event registration and online course purchases, adding layers of functionality that support both user engagement and operational efficiency.
The final product is a polished, high-performing website that reflects ICRT global’s mission while delivering the tools and interactivity needed to facilitate their educational initiatives. This comprehensive solution positions ICRT global as a leading resource in Responsible Tourism, providing a scalable platform that can adapt to future growth and programme expansion.
